To the Editor:
It is essential that our next Attorney General be a person who has the experience and knowledge necessary to ensure the seamless continuation of that office’s important work. The candidate who is up to that challenge is Maura Healey.
For the past seven years, Maura has worked in the AG office, directing civil rights and consumer protection cases, eventually overseeing more than half of its 500 lawyers and staff members.
In my opinion the best candidate for Attorney General is the person with the most experience. Maura already has the momentum to pursue her goals, including plans to reduce gun violence, to combat the current heroin epidemic, to institute the first ever Child and Youth Protection Division, and plans to continue to protect us from predatory lenders.
Primary Day is Tuesday, September 16. I urge you to vote for Maura Healy, because we need the best possible Attorney General.
