Edward F. Andras, Jr., 70, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Baystate Noble Hospital. He was born in Westfield to the late Edith V. (Whalen) and Edward F. Andras, Sr. Ed served his country with the United States Army from 1966-1968 during Vietnam and was honorably discharged with the rank of SP-4. Ed was employed as a manager and foreman for Columbia Manufacturing for many years. He was an avid Red Sox fan, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a longtime member of the American Legion Post 124 in Westfield. Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Terry A. (Connor) Andras of Westfield, a daughter, Hillary Lawrence and her fiancé Mark McCarty, and grandson Devon Allison of Windsor, CT, a brother Bill Andras and his wife Kathy of Westfield, a sister Lori Andras and her fiancée Daniel LaMothe of Westfield, a brother-in-law, Gerry Connor and his wife Jean of West Springfield, and 3 nephews, 2 nieces, 5 great nieces and 3 great nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 11 AM in St. Peter/St. Casmir’s Church, State St. Westfield followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will precede the Mass from 9-10:30 AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA. Donations in Ed’s name may be directed to Shriners Hospital, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104.
