WESTFIELD – Edward J. Crevier, 82, (1943-2026) passed away at home on Friday, January 9th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Holyoke to 
the late Guy and Ellen (Thompson) Crevier.
Edward was a painter for many years for the painter’s union. He loved gathering with the family for dinners every Sunday, going camping with his family, summer at the beach, and going hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed sitting on the deck with Theresa watching wildlife.
Edward was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Theresa L. (Guevin) Crevier and a daughter Lorraine T. Wright and is survived by his children, Kevin J. Crevier and his fiancé Nancy, Joseph J. Crevier and his wife Ollie, and a daughter-in-law Linda DeNote, all of Westfield, his twelve grandchildren, James, Christopher, and his wife Annabelle, Theresa and her husband Anthony, Joseph and his wife Kelsey, Miranda, Robert, Anthony and his fiancé Crystal, Samantha, Katrina, Elizabeth, Michael and Anthony and several great-grandchildren. He also leaves his siblings, John Crevier, Richard Crevier, Bruce Crevier, Robert Crevier, Margaret Snyder, Louise Curotte and Suzanne Simmons and several nieces and nephews.
His family would like to thank his caregiver Ali “Delea” for her care and compassion given to Edward.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 18th, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Pioneer Valley Sportsman’s Club, 101 Sikes Avenue, West Springfield, MA. Burial with Military Honors for Edward and a moment of remembrance for Theresa will be held on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026, at 9 a.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA 01001. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s name may be directed to Hospice and Western and Central Mass, 1325 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills, MA 01030.
