SOUTHWICK: Elaine Norma (Soucy) Roberts, 89, passed away at Noble Hospital on Friday, November 6, 2015. She was born in Springfield, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Bella (Bernier) Soucy. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Church. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Donavan B. Roberts and Jesse Haynes; her brothers, Roger and Richard Soucy; her sister, Norma Sheridan; and her grandson, Jeremy Johnson. She leaves her sons, Barry Roberts and his wife, Fay, Wayne Roberts and his wife, Gail, Gerald Roberts and his wife, Yolanda, Mark Roberts and his wife, Donna, Bruce Roberts, and Rene Roberts and his wife, Karene; her daughters, Donna Lee Johnson and her husband, Elmer, and Kathy Heerz; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; her brother, Rene Soucy; and her sister, Adrienne Peloquin. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, November 10th from 8:45AM-9:45AM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 11AM at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 224 Sheep Pasture Road, Southwick. Burial will be in New Cemetery.
