ArtWalk Westfield, a free art and cultural experience that takes each month in downtown Westfield, will feature a unique mix of local and regional artists on Friday evening April 26th from 5pm to 7pm in pop-up art galleries located in the Gaslight Gallery District along Elm Street between Church and School Streets.

Immediately following the ArtWalk experience, ArtWorks Westfield has partnered with Westfield On Weekends and Westfield Creative Arts to present ArtWalk After Hours from 5-7pm at Westfield Creative Arts, 105 Elm Street in downtown Westfield, one block north of the Gaslight Gallery District. The “ArtWalk After Party”, a coffee house featuring live, local musicians in the intimate setting of the WCA Gallery, is free to the general public and those who have attended the evening’s ArtWalk to meet up and continue to enjoy local arts.

April ArtWalk Westfield will feature several artists who are making their Westfield gallery debuts while two Westfield-based artists will be back to showcase their new collections. All artists will be on hand at each pop up gallery location to answer questions and chat about their work. Most pieces of art work will be available for purchase.

ArtWalk Westfield is held on the third Friday of each month from 5-7pm May through August, featuring a different mix of artist and artistic mediums each month. During the fall and cold weather months from September through March ArtWalk takes place on the third Saturday from 11am to 1pm.

Launched in June 2018, ArtWalk Westfield is a collaborative effort between ArtWorks Westfield, host pop up gallery business owners and local artists and musicians. Working together we aspire to create a thriving art and cultural marketplace, engage the community and attract more foot traffic to the downtown area, creating a more energetic and active metropolitan space.
