Project Puppy Love – Make rough life a little more comfortable. We are making no- sew fleece blankets to be donated to dogs at Dakin Animal Shelter in Springfield. Materials provided. Fifty Word Fiction Competition- Write a story using the prompt: “describe mankind’s first meeting with life on another planet.” The story must be exactly fifty words. Submit the story to the Reference in person at Southwick Public Library use or the Google Form on Southwick Public Library’s Facebook page. The winner receives a ten dollar McDonald’s gift card. Manga Club– Get together with fellow fans, talk manga and anime, and do a fun activity. This month, we’re making onigiri, which are sushi rice balls in fun shapes or characters.
