Story Yoga for Kids Ages 2-5: Join us at Southwick Public Library for a special time on Tuesday, March 5 at 10:30-11:30 a.m. for Story Yoga. Listen to a story. Learn some yoga poses. Do a special yoga-related activity and make a craft. This hour-long program for 2-5 year olds helps children to manage their bodies, focus, relax and have fun. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. Please pre-register for this program. Advance registration is helpful but not necessary. This program is presented by Southwick Public Library and “Pathways for Parents.”

Celebrate Dr. Seuss: Kids with a parent or caregiver are invited to come to the Children’s Room to enjoy favorite Dr. Seuss stories on Wednesday, March 6 at 6:30 p.m. Local actor, Robert Clark will bring the stories to life for us to celebrate this special occasion. Kids can wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animals. A Make & Take Craft will be available, too.

Makerspace Monday: Make a Sharpie-dyed T-shirt on March 11 at 3:00 p.m. at Makerspace Monday. Bring in a clean white t-shirt and learn how the chemical reaction can make a beautiful or terrifying design! You can also try our 3D pen and littleBits connectors. Please register in the Children’s Room for this special event.

2-5 year olds Have Fun at Tuesday Storytime: Southwick Public Library Storytime for 2-5 year olds is on March 12, 19 & 26 at 10:30 a.m. in the Children’s Room. Hear new stories, old stories and welcome spring stories. Make a simple craft and sing a song. Visit or call the library at 413-569-1221 ext. 4 to join in the fun, or just stop in the day of the event.

March Drop-In Crafts: Make a Shamrock Man to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. This fun drop-in craft will be available in the Children’s Room during our regular hours from Wednesday March 13-Saturday, March 16. Also, welcome spring with a special craft available the week of March 18-23.

Southwick Public Library Combined LEGO Clubs in March: Southwick Public Library’s two LEGO Clubs will meet together on Wednesday, March 20 from 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. Kids in kindergarten through grade 6 will have fun building their LEGO creations using our LEGOs and can choose to work alone or with a friend. Pre-register by visiting the library or calling the Children’s Room at 413-569-1221 ext. 4. We are looking forward to seeing your LEGO creations.
