Come join us on Saturday, October 19, as we celebrate and encourage each other to live an active, healthy, independent lifestyle! Walking is directly linked with good health and sustained independence. Time/place: 10:30 am – 1 pm at Stanton Hall, 26 Russell Rd, Huntington. We have walking maps with suggested loops of easy difficult and moderate. Designated 1-mile loops are: Littleville Dam RT. Done 2 times = 1 mile; Norwich Bridge Cemetery Loop = 1 mile; Blandford Hill RD to dirt and back = 1 mile; Town Common Loop done 5 times = 1 mile; and Pettis Field Loop done 2 times = 1 mile.

Take as long as you need to finish walking 1 mile. Raffle tickets are awarded for each half mile. All walkers with varying speeds and abilities are welcome to participate in the walk. Bring your family and friends to walk with you! Please register in advance. Register to walk by calling 413-512-5205.

Directions for parking: for Stanton Hall, park behind the Liquor Store; for Littleville Dam easy, park at the top of the entrance; for Norwich Bridge, park at school; for Blandford Hill, park at Liquor Store; and for Pettis Field Loop, park at Library. On the day of the walk, check-in will begin at 10:30 am. At 11 am, there is entertainment; at 12:30 pm, free food; and at 1 pm, raffles will add to the fun. (You must be present to win.) Your name with our COA will be entered into a state-wide raffle for special prizes after completing a mile.
