Unify Against Bullying will host a party on Monday, March 11th, 5:30 p.m. in the 3rdfloor community room located at One Financial Plaza, 1350 Main Street, Springfield, Massachusetts. The event is the official kick off for their annual Unify Fashion Show fundraiser scheduled to take place on May 14th. The tickets go on sale that evening and are a hot commodity as the fashion show has been sold out the last four years! Palazzo’s Café, located on the main floor of One Financial is generously providing the refreshments.

The all-inclusive Fashion Show which is held at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, Massachusetts will feature male and female teen models of all sizes, shapes, styles, ethnicities, sexual orientation and physical abilities. The students also create and participate in an anti-bullying performance. Proceeds from the event will benefit the tax-exempt organization Unify Against Bullying.

Unify Against Bullying is a tax-exempt organization whose mission is; to bring an end to bullying through the celebration of true diversity. Through fundraising efforts, the organization has been able to award micro-grants to individuals and organizations that share that mission. Their “Selfie Challenge” is raising awareness globally to the silence that is associated with bullying. The Unify high school students are bringing education to those that it makes the most impact by a program that explains the effects of bullying to their younger peers. There are countless children and teens waging quiet battles against bullying. Many believe they are alone. Unify Against Bullying wants these children to know they are far from alone, but are supported by a loving, caring community of fellow students, teachers, parents and business and community leaders.
