Westfield State University to host Amanda Kralovic’s artwork in Arno Maris Gallery

February 18, 2020 @ 8:00 am - March 21, 2020 @ 5:00 pm

WESTFIELD–Westfield State University will host an exhibit of artwork by Amanda Kralovic in Ely Campus Center’s Arno Maris Art Gallery, from February 18 to March 21. A talk will be held Thursday, February 20, at 11:30 a.m. in the Gallery. The exhibit, titled “Manipulation,” will feature Kralovic’s print pieces.

A native to the Saratoga Springs, N.Y., area, Kralovic’s work has been exhibited in various juried national and international exhibitions in the United States and New Zealand. Her recent work portrays the emotional and natural sensations of water as it moves through and around the body and mind, depicted though shape, pattern, and color. Kralovic has taught art at several colleges, including Middlebury College, SUNY Adirondack, Central Michigan University, and University of Albany. She holds an MFA in printmaking from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.

The exhibit and gallery talk are free and open to the public. Gallery hours: Tuesday–Friday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. –3 p.m. For more information, visit www.westfield.ma.edu/marisgallery.
