Frances L. Poe

WESTFIELD – Frances L. (White) Poe, 68, formerly a long-time Westfield resident, affectionally known as “Auntie Frannie” passed away on July 8th. Born, raised and educated in Springfield, she was the daughter of John L. White and Alice White Atkinson. She had resided in Westfield since 1975. She took much enjoyment in organizing, planting and decorating. Frannie enjoyed spending time with family and friends and loved everyone…nothing pleased her more than attending her grandson Anthony’s sporting events, whom she raised since age 2. She was fiercely proud of him and all he had accomplished. He was the light of her life. She was employed by Sonicron Systems Corp. for the past 15 years.

Frannie leaves to honor her memory, her loving and devoted grandson Anthony Pepin, her sister and best friend Loretta White, her dear niece Karen Liebel Doughty, husband Scott and their children Savannah and Sierra, her nephews Brian Liebel, wife Stephanie and their children Ryan, Conor and Brennen, James White Jr. and his children Alicia Lynn and Jaymie Lee. She also leaves her much loved cat and a multitude of “Family Friends” all whom she loved dearly. Frances was also pre-deceased by her only brother, James White. All services are private.
