WESTFIELD – George P. (Butch) Shimeld, 70, of Westfield, born on January 10, 1942 passed away peacefully on November 20, 2012 at Holyoke Hospital. He was the son of the late Charles Shimeld, and Stacia Kucefski Shimeld.
He leaves his wife of 10 years, Janet Masciadrelli Shimeld and her sons, Brent Bean II and Jason Bean, their families and his brother-in-law, Albert Masciadrelli. He also leaves his two daughters, Laurie Walker and Kristy Cooper, their families, and his many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews.
Butch served in the United States Army, and retired from the Westfield Gas and Electric where he served as a heavy equipment repairman. His passion was working on and restoring antique cars. He will be truly missed by all.
