Free admission to the public, individuals are encouraged and have the opportunity to donate $10 for the show cars that will be on display.

Besides cars, the event will consist of several family-friendly activities, including a DJ, food, ice cream from the Gran-Val Scoop, a dunk tank, as well as Granville police officers.

According to Granville Police Lt. Rick Rindels, there will be both classic and custom cars on display.

“We’re hoping to get people from surrounding towns and the local area with their show cars,” said Rindels.

Rindels expressed the importance of having the community attending and supporting this event.

“The (Granville Police) Association provides things like scholarships for high school students, needed equipment for officers, and support for officer’s families if they are injured on the job,” said Rindels. “We are hoping to make this a yearly event.”

A not-for-profit organization that was established in 2009, all of the donations from the event on Sunday will go back to the Granville Police Association.
