On Friday the Munger Hill School, as part of a system-wide fundraising project, hosted a hat day to raise funds for the American Red Cross lifesaving Measles Initiative program. Each child who wanted to wear a hat for the day, had to donate a dollar. Each dollar saves the life of a child in impoverished countries in Africa and Southeast Asia by enabling them to receive a measles inoculation. (Photo submitted)
