WESTFIELD – Wednesday’s early dismissal allowed Westfield High School to hold the Health and Wellness Fair scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. The Westfield High School Council on Peer Education (COPE) hosted the fair, which had 60 exhibits and demonstrations from groups including the Westfield Drug Task Force, the Carson Center, Behavioral Health Network, Holyoke Medical Center, Westfield State University, and the Westfield YMCA.
“Congratulations to COPE advisor Kristen Puleo and the peer education students that put this beneficial community event together,” said Superintendent Stefan Czaporowski about the Health and Wellness Fair.
“The WHS Council on Peer Education Health and Wellness Fair was a tremendous success. It engaged students with activities and information that is relevant and meaningful to them. We are grateful to our community partners and look forward to seeing this become an annual event at Westfield High School,” added WHS Principal Charles Jendrysik.
