Helen D. Ugolick

ugolick HelenFEEDING HILLS – Helen D. (Maleszewski)  Ugolick, 83, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center.  She was born in Springfield and has lived in Feeding Hills most of her life.  Helen was a communicant of St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church.
Helen was predeceased by her loving husband of fifty-one years, Walter, in 2002.  She is survived by a son, Walter II and his wife Leslie of Ashburn, VA; a daughter, Sabina Papai and her husband James of Southwick; two sisters; Edna Tomkiel of Chicopee, and Regina Suleski of Charlotte, NC. Helen also leaves five grandchildren; James, Andrew, Jeffrey, Jennifer and her husband Justin and Cory and his wife Rebecca, and a great-granddaughter, Alexis. She was predeceased by her brother, Walter Maleszewski and her sister, Teresa Jarvis. Helen’s family would like to thank the Agawam Fire Dept. and Ambulance for their compassionate care. Special thanks, also, to Pam from Great to be Home Care for the aid and companionship she gave Helen.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, September 27th from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass in St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church, 73 Main Street, Westfield at 11:00 a.m. Calling hours will precede the funeral on Friday from 9:00 a.m.until 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
