Howard M. Beardslee

WESTFIELD – Howard M. Beardslee, 60, of Westfield, died suddenly on Sunday afternoon as a result of a cycling accident involving a motor vehicle. Born in Camden, NJ, he received a BA Degree from Glassboro/Rowan University, and a Master’s Degree from Antioch University.
Howard was the owner and manager of Restore-it, Inc. of Westfield for fifteen years, and was previously employed as a financial planner at Vinson Associates of Springfield. He was an avid cyclist, great photographer, loved to read, and loved the outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Marilyn (Delekta) Beardslee; two loving daughters, Joyce, 21, and Gina, 17; his parents, Howard and Ann Beardslee of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Keith of Cornish Flat, NH; a sister, Beth Beardslee-Romeo of Ware; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 19th, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Immediately following, a celebration of Howie’s life will be held at the family’s residence. Burial will be private.
