WESTFIELD: Irving F. Hillard, Sr., 76, passed away at home surrounded by his beloved family on February 26, 2021. Born December 25, 1944, Irving was born and raised in Westfield, attended Westfield public schools and moved onto have 3 children. Irving worked for more than 30 years at United Industrial Service in Agawam and retired from there in 2013. In his retirement, Irving enjoyed continuing to drive with his own vehicle through the countryside enjoying the views of easy living. Irving was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
Irving leaves behind his two children, his son Irving Hillard, Jr. of Westfield, his daughter Michelle Vieu and her fiancé Billy Bialecki of Gilford, NH, his sister Jean Hillard of Westfield and her boyfriend Ken, his brother Raymond “Ike” Hillard of Westfield, his grandchildren Samuel Bialecki and Logan Bialecki both of NH, his nephews Daniel Towle and his wife Cora of MA and Francis Towle and his wife Merideth of NC, Heidi Hillard of MA, his longtime girlfriend, Karen Welch of Connecticut and many great-nieces and great-nephews of whom Irving loved dearly. Irving was predeceased by his mother Millicent Hillard, his father Francis Hillard, his son Raymond Hillard, his brother John Hillard, and his brother Francis Hillard, Jr.
There will be a private graveside memorial for Irving at a later date and a memorial gathering at a later date which will include his close friends and family. Arrangements are under the direction of Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St., Westfield, MA 01085. www.firtionadams.com
