WESTFIELD – Jacqueline R. Wynn (Rogers) 63, of Westfield, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2019 at the Governor’s Center in Westfield, after many years of complicated and severe illnesses. Jackie was born January 13, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA, daughter of Lt. Col. Raymond and Pearl Rogers. She worked hard supporting her family starting from a young age, faithfully caring for others, including serving as a nursing home, motherhouse and hospital certified nursing assistant, in-home personal care attendant, and home daycare provider at the same house where she grew up as a child and then proudly raised her own family in Westfield. Jackie was also a very active member of Central Baptist Church in Westfield. She is survived by her three sons, Joseph and his wife Laurel, Michael, and Kevin, all of Westfield; brother Robert and his wife Kelly of Milford, DE; step-mother Stella Rogers of South Hadley; ex-husband James Wynn and granddaughters Claire Isabella and Ella Rose. Jackie was predeceased by her parents, sister Judith Richmond and brother “Bert” Raymond, Jr. Many sincere thanks to the care team at Governor’s Center that kindly and lovingly helped “Nana” Jackie find peace and comfort in her final weeks. She was an inspiration to many family, friends, and caretakers for keeping a remarkably positive attitude through many trials and tribulations. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 27 at 1 PM at Central Baptist Church, 115 Elm Street Westfield. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:30 PM and be held again immediately following the service at a collation reception lunch hosted by Central Baptist – all are welcome.
