Jacqueline (White) McClellan

WESTFIELD – Jacqueline “Jackie” (White) McClellan, 78, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2023 with her family by her side. She was a daughter of the late John “Jack” and Jeane (Denalsky) White, was predeceased by her sister Jeanne Gaines and survived by her sisters Jill Alison of Chandler, AZ and Judith White of Agawam, MA. She was a lifelong Southwick resident, with her final years living in Westfield and a 1962 graduate of Westfield High School.

Jacqueline worked for many years in the Aerospace industry at several area companies in the administration and quality control departments, retiring from Hamilton Standard in Windsor Locks, CT. She continued to regularly meet with friends she made from working at Hamilton. She was a loving mother and great cook for her family. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, playing bingo, meeting monthly with her High School friends, sitting by the pool at Marilyn’s house, and loved family functions where she would never be late and always the last to leave. She loved to travel when she could and enjoyed visiting her parents in Holden Beach, North Carolina for many years.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her three adored children, David McClellan, Jr. and his wife Paula of Agawam, Donald McClellan of Southwick, and Lisa Domina and her husband Kenneth of Windsor Locks, CT; grandchildren Daniel and Nicole McClellan and Nicholas Domina; great-grandson Noah Domina; grand-dog Quinn who she called “Grammy’s Little Monkey”; several nieces and nephews, as well as her best friend Marilyn and her two daughters Kelley and Sue. Jackie is also survived by her longtime companion, Phil of many years.

Family and Friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral and Cremation from 4 – 6 pm followed by a funeral home service at 6 pm.
