SOUTHWICK – Janice E. Cammisa, 73, 
(1945 – 2019) passed away on May 25, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Springfield, MA on August 10, 1945 to the late Edward G. and Ida L. (Sandman) King, she graduated from Southwick High School in 1963.
She attended University of Connecticut for 1 year and then Baystate Medical Center School of Nursing, graduating in 1981. Janice worked at Baystate Medical Center for 24 years as a Registered Nurse, retiring in 2005.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 33 years, John Cammisa, II who passed away in 1998. To cherish her memory, Janice leaves her sons John Cammisa, III and his wife Christal and Eric Cammisa both of Southwick; grandchildren John Cammisa, IV and Devon Swan; her brother Philip King and his wife Marge of NH as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 9 – 11 AM at Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA with a service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in New Cemetery.
