SOUTHWICK – Jeffrey K. Avonti, age 54, passed away on August 31st, 2026, after a long illness. Jeffrey was the beloved son of Michael and Joan (Dupre) Avonti. Born in Westfield, MA he was a resident of Southwick. Jeffrey was a graduate of Southwick High School.
Following High School, Jeffrey had a long career as a chef working in the former Chuck’s Steak House in Southwick, and the Ranch Golf Course also in Southwick. Jeffrey enjoyed baseball and football, in particular the Dallas Cowboys.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is survived by a son, Anthony Avonti; one brother Michael Avonti, one sister Michele Avonti-Matyseck and her husband Thomas; two nephews Dominic Matyseck and Franco Matyseck.
