Jerome D. Paiva, 68, passed away at home in Leominster, MA on November 19, 2019. He was born in Westfield, MA to Eleanor A (Subelick) Paiva and the late George J. Paiva. Jerome served his country with the United States Army during Vietnam with the 59th Ordinance Co. from 1970-1972. He was a 1969 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Westfield. Jerome worked as a computer engineer for EMC Corp for many years. He enjoyed fishing and reading. Jerome is survived by his two sons, Craig Paiva and his wife Jennifer of Floral City, FL and Jeremy Paiva of Dorchester, MA, his three brothers, George Paiva and his wife Joanne of Easthampton, Stephen Paiva with Susan Thomas of Westfield and Daniel Paiva of Westfield, his sister Kathleen Barker of Westfield and his four grandchildren, Jada, Micah, Jeremy, Jr. and Victoria. A private burial with Military Honors will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Agawam at his family’s convenience.
