John J. Beck, 86, (1929-2016) 
passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Baystate Noble Hospital. He was born in Wheeling, PA to the late John A. and Catherine (Lesniak) Beck. John served his country with the U.S. Navy during Korea from 1948-1952. He was employed as a local letter carrier in Westfield for 30 years for the U.S. Postal Service retiring in 1984. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Lucille (Thibault) Beck and is survived by his second wife Lorraine (Mendenhall) Beck of Westfield, his son Thomas A. Beck and his wife Paula of Chester, his daughters, Linda S. George and her husband Greg of Sutton, NE and Michelle McGregor with Eddy of Westfield, his step son Edward P. Cuzzone of Ludlow, step daughters, Nancy Gaudette and Lisa Cuzzone of Ludlow and Theresa Cuzzone of Chicopee, his brother Ted Beck and sister Sophie Hoelzer, both of Pittsburgh, PA, six grandchildren And 10 great grandchildren.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday at 1PM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St. Agawam. Visiting hours will precede the service from 11 AM- 1PM in the funeral home.
