Westfield – Joseph James Carpowits, Jr., 90, (1927-2017) passed away Monday, Dec. 4th, at home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Wood) of 70 years, two daughters Sue, son-in-law Leo Donahue of Russell, MA, and Nan Carpowits of Westfield. He leaves behind two grandchildren – Leigh Jenks of Stephen City, VA and Megan Donahue of Haverhill, MA. He also leaves behind two great grandchildren Dylan & Abigayle Jenks. Per Josephs request there no calling hours and burial to be private for his immediate family only.
