NORTHAMPTON: Joseph Komla, 84, (1936-2016) died Monday May 16, 2016 in Baystate Medical Center. Born in Southampton, MA on February 29, 1932, Joseph was the son of the late Stanley and Anna (Szarek) Komla. He attended local schools and graduated from Easthampton High School in 1950. After graduating,Joseph went on to work on his family’s farm. He enjoyed fishing, trapping, and hunting.
Besides his parents, Joseph was predeceased by his sister Phyllis Komla in 1996. He survived by his brother Stanley Komla of Agawam, MA and his sister Dorothy St. Germain of North Attleboro, MA., 4 nieces and nephews, Gail, Donna, John, and Stanley; along with 2 grand nieces, Laura and Nora.
A Graveside Service will take place Saturday June 4, 2016 at St Mary’s Cemetery, Westfield at 11 am, There are no calling hours, The Robert E Cusack Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
