WESTFIELD – Westfield’s free 15-week celebration of the glass artistry of Josh Simpson opens Saturday with the Megaplanet Promenade: the Josh Simpson Art Walk from 5-8 p.m. up and down Elm Street in Westfield’s downtown and at the Pilgrim Candle Marketplace, 16 Union Avenue. The opening of three gallery exhibits of Josh Simpson’s work, musicians, art demonstrations, an official mayoral welcome to the artist, the unveiling of the “Universal Thoughts” project of public art throughout the city and even a Pizza Contest are among the Saturday’s highlights.
