Luis McCain-Santiago, 23, of 46 Savoy Ave., Springfield, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 9 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and failure to wear a seat belt brought by Westfield police. In a separate case brought by Westfield police, McCain-Santiago was enjoined from making any threats or violence toward any witnesses and was released on $2,000 personal surety pending an Aug. 9 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of malicious damage to a motor vehicle.

, 49, of 24 Maple Terrace, was placed on pretrial probation for one month after he was arraigned on a charge of using a motor vehicle without authority brought by Westfield police.
Keven Cowles, 33, of 139 Root Road, pleaded guilty to a charge of larceny of property valued more than $250 and was sentenced to time served awaiting trial since April 17, 2012. He was ordered to pay forthwith fees and assessments amounting to $415.
Michael Hudson, 21, of 89 South Loomis St., Southwick, admitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of operating under the influence of liquor brought by State Police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for one year. He was assessed $350, ordered to complete a Drug Alcohol Education Program at a cost of $817.22 and his license was suspended for 45 days. He was found to be not responsible for a charge of possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and for a marked lanes violation.
Torry Gajda, 29, of 49 Deborah Lane, was placed on pretrial probation for three months after he was arraigned on a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Southwick police. He was found to be responsible for a charge of speeding and a charge of failure to stop for police was not prosecuted.
Steven E. Girroir, 17, of 81 Granville Road, was released on his personal recognizance pending an Aug. 23 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle brought by Southwick police.
Jose L. Serrano, 27, of 50 Benton St., Springfield, pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police.
