Jennifer L. Meagher, 43, of 8 Phelps Ave., was released on her personal recognizance pending an Aug. 8 hearing after she was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker brought by Westfield police.

Benjamin K. Cross, 21, of 4 Kent Way, Byfield, admitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for two charges of assault and battery and one charge of disorderly conduct brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for six months. He was assessed $50.
Alexa Morales, 19, of 217 Lockhouse Road, was placed on pretrial probation for six months after she was arraigned on charges of larceny of property valued more than $250 and of larceny of property valued less than $250 brought by Westfield police.
Christopher C. Wert, 25, of 593 Southwick Road, admitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for number plate violation to conceal identification and the charge was continued without a finding and dismissed upon payment of an assessment of $50. He was found responsible for a charge of operating in unregistered motor vehicle and for speeding in violation of special regulations. A charge of operating an uninsured motor vehicle was not prosecuted.

In the first of four separate cases adjudicated, Sean P. Deglis, 25, of 5 Lexington Circle, Southwick pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a Class D drug with intent to distribute brought by Westfield police and was sentenced to 127 days in the house of correction. In a case brought by Southwick police he pleaded guilty to a charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to a concurrent 127 day term and, when he pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, was sentenced to an additional ten day concurrent term. He was found to be not responsible for a marked lanes violation. In another case brought by Westfield police he again pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and was sentenced to another ten day concurrent term. He was also found responsible for a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a valid inspection sticker. In a third Westfield case, Deglis again pleaded guilty to a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and was again sentenced to a ten day concurrent term. He was also found to be responsible for a charged of speeding in violation of special regulations.
Daniel B. Meadows, 54, of no known address, was ordered to refrain from abusing the victim and was released on $1,500 personal surety after he was arraigned on a charge of violation of a protective order.
Daniel R. Darnell, 27, of 48 Mullen Ave., was released on his personal recognizance pending a July 10 hearing after he was arraigned on a charge of carrying a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police.
