9:49 a.m.: lost property, Russell Road, a caller reports a lost wallet, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he left his wallet on top of his vehicle while fueling drove and when he checked with the attendant he found that the wallet had not been reported to have been found;
8:50 identity fraud, Jessie Lane, a resident came to the station to report fraudulent use of her debit card, the responding officer reports the complainant said that she had been advised that four unauthorized charges had been made to her debit card in California, the case was referred to the financial crimes unit of the detective bureau;
10:42 a.m.: fire, Honey Pot Road, a caller reports wires on a utility pole are arcing and igniting brush, the responding firefighters report the resident had extinguished the burning foliage and they secured the scene pending the arrival of a G&E crew;
10:55 a.m.: breaking and entering, Hillcrest Circle, a resident came to the station to report his vehicle was entered overnight and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the complainant said that he parked his car in his driveway about 6 p.m. and about 9 a.m. found the unlocked vehicle had been entered and an iPod and medication had been stolen;
3:48 p.m.: disturbance, Meadow Street, a caller report her boyfriend smashed the windshield of her vehicle, the responding officer reports the caller said that during an argument her boyfriend struck the windshield of her vehicle with a beer bottle and shattered it, the woman said the man fled on foot, see 5:30 a.m. Sunday entry;
4:40 p.m.: suspicious person, Sackett Road, a caller reports a male party came to her door and asked for a ride to Springfield, the responding officer reports the man needed a ride to the bus stop so he can get to Springfield to play basketball, the officer reports the man was provided a courtesy transport to the bus stop;
7:49 p.m.: fireworks, New Broadway Street, a caller reports fireworks are coming from a neighbor’s house, the responding officer reports the resident said that all the fireworks had been expended;
8:01 p.m.: larceny, Powder Mil Village, a caller reports that while she was away from home her children’s bicycles were stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that she left about 11:30 a.m. and returned about 7:30 p.m. to find three bicycles missing from her porch, the woman said that a neighbor said that between noon and 2 p.m. three young male parties were seen to run on to the porch and ride away on he bikes, the officer reports his investigation yielded a suspect and will continue;
8:28 p.m.: assist citizen, Pine Street, firefighters report they responded to assist a caller who reported a lock out but no entry was made;
11:43 p.m.: suspicious activity, Old Park Lane, a caller reports a family member advised him of an unusual noise behind her house, the responding officer reports an egg had been thrown against he house, no suspects were found in the area;

12:51 a.m.: disturbance, Arnold Street, a caller reports her intoxicated son is making a disturbance in the street near her home, the responding officer reports the man moved out of the street when he arrived and said that he had been trying to attract his mother’s attention, the officer observed he man to display obvious symptoms of alcohol intoxication and found that he was neither a resident nor welcome at the address, the man was placed in protective custody;
1:39 a.m.: disturbance, Elm Street, a caller reports a fight at an Elm Street bar, the responding officer reports that the fight ended prior to his arrival, the officer reports that while at the scene he observed a man who appeared to be concealing something in his pocket and was found to be in possession of brass knuckles, the officer reports the man said that he carries the brass knuckles in case of problems, Daniel R. Darnell, 27, of 48 Mullen Ave., was arrested for carrying a dangerous weapon;
5:30 a.m.: suspicious person, Meadow Street, a caller reports a man is bent over as if his is trying to defeat a lock, the responding officer reports he observed a man bending over to drink from a garden hose, the officer reports the man was found to have been involved in an earlier incident in which he allegedly damaged a vehicle, Luis M. Santiago, 23, of 57 Meadow St., was arrested for malicious damage to a motor vehicle;
8:12 a.m.: larceny, Van Deusen Apartments, 42 Arnold St., a caller reports someone broke into his home overnight and stole his medicine, the responding officer reports the caller said that he went to bed about 11 p.m. and about 7:30 a.m. he found his front door locked by slightly ajar, the man said a bottle of medication was found to have been taken from a table;
8:59 a.m.: found property, Neck Road, a community policing officer reports he found a bicycle in a Neck Road field, the bike was transported to the station for safe keeping;
9:22 a.m.: assist citizen, Mather Street, a resident came to the station to request assistance gathering property at an address he is barred from by a protective order, the responding officer reports there was no answer at the door and the man was allowed to take only a wheel rim from a shed;
9:50 a.m.: assist citizen, Broad Street, a resident came to the station to request assistance gathering property at an address he is barred from by a protective order, the responding officer reports a routine check revealed that the man was the subject of an outstanding warrant, Daniel Meadows, 54, of 51 Broad St., was arrested on the warrant;
11:29 a.m.: fire, Massachusetts Turnpike, a caller reports a vehicle fire, the responding firefighters report the exhaust system of a camper ignited a mattress, the responding firefighters report the burning mattress was largely extinguished prior to their arrival, the firefighters report the camper was examined for hot spots and liberally doused, the firefighters report the side of the road was also thoroughly soaked at the request of State Police;
12:22 a.m.: fire, Jeremy Drive, a caller reports a tree fire, dual response dispatched, the responding officer reports the caller said he came home and noticed a cloud of smoke in front of his neighbor’s house, the officer reports the man said he found a large bush in flames and use a garden hose to knock down the fire, the responding firefighters report they completed the extinguishment, the firefighters report an carelessly discarded cigarette is the most likely ignition source, the vinyl siding was damaged;
5:12 p.m.: larceny, East Glen Drive, a caller reports the theft of tools, the responding officer reports the caller said that his step-daughter had visitors about two weeks ago and he observed an orange bucket in the trunk of one of her visitors’ vehicles just like the one he uses to keep his $600 socket set in, the man said that he thought nothing of it until he subsequently discovered his bucket of tools to be missing, the case was referred to the detective bureau;
9:23 p.m.: disturbance, Security Manor, 47 Broad St., a caller reports a guest who will not leave, the responding officer reports the caller said that he invited a friend to dinner and an argument developed, the man said he asked the man to leave and he punched him before he left, the officer noted the resident had a bloody nose, the man said he was not sure if he wanted to pursue criminal charges, the officer spoke with the suspect who denied punching the caller, the officer advised the resident that he can seek a criminal complaint at Westfield District Court if he chooses to.
