WESTFIELD: June M. Osowski, 90 of Westfield, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 29, 2021 at home surrounded by family. She is the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Kwiantkowski) Pietras. She was born and raised in Westfield and was a graduate of Westfield High School. June was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church in Westfield. She was a Food Services Manager in the Westfield Public Schools for 25 years before retiring in 1992.
June leaves behind her husband Walter Osowski of 68 years; her children Paula Ancelli and husband Eugene of Westfield, daughter Nancy Osowski of Westfield; grandchildren Tricia Kadlewicz and husband John of Southwick, Gina Crossetti of Westfield and Paul Ancelli and wife Melissa of Westfield. She also leaves behind her eight great-grandchildren Troy, Matthew, Ruby, Robert (Tony), Eugene (E.J.), Abigail, Jacob and Baby Kadlewicz, who is expected in July. The family would like to extend their thanks to all the wonderful caregivers that took such loving care of June, especially, Kim, Kristina, Ann, Sarah and Lisa.
She enjoyed playing tennis and was a member of the Westwick Tennis Club. In past years, June enjoyed her annual trips to Myrtle Beach, Florida and numerous bus tours. One of her favorite trips was to Memphis Tennessee. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren on yearly trips to North Conway, New Hampshire where they would relax by the waterfalls. She especially loved her Friday afternoon dates with her great grandchildren Tony and E.J. where they enjoyed watering her favorite flowers and eating her special ice cream sundaes.
The Funeral Mass for June will be on Monday, June 7th, 2021 at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church, Westfield. A Visiting hour will proceed the service from 10-11AM in the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield, MA. Burial will follow in St. Josephs Cemetery, Westfield.
