Kan Yung Tang, 76, a resident of Southwick since 2002 and formerly of Hong Kong, died early Friday afternoon, November 7, 2014 at Pok Oi Hospital in the New Territory of Hong Kong, China. He was born and educated in Hong Kong and prior to his retirement owned and operated several restaurants including the Great Wall in Springfield and The House of Tang in Windsor Locks. He was the devoted husband of the late May (Lau) Tang who died on September 4, 2008 and leaves three loving sons, Stanley Tang and his wife Jackie of Hong Kong, Rickey Tang and his wife Sara of Southwick, and Sam Tang and his wife Aneta of New York City; a sister, Tang Choi Kwan of Hong Kong; and two grandchildren, Constance and Chancellor Tang.
