
WESTFIELD – Kathleen R. McGlynn, 76, passed away peacefully on June 17th, 2026. Born in Westfield, Massachusetts, on September 18th, 1949, she was the daughter of the late George Phelps and Anna (Middleton) Phelps.
Kathleen spent many years living in Westfield and was known for her kind heart, strong devotion to her family, and warm spirit. A homemaker throughout much of her life, she took great pride in caring for those she loved and creating lasting memories with family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher Wilder and wife Soledad and Jon Wilder and wife Emily and daughter Michelle Aucoin. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Aiden, Ava, and Noah, who brought her tremendous joy and happiness.
Kathleen enjoyed painting, traveling, and spending time with her family. Whether gathering with loved ones or exploring new places, she treasured every opportunity to make meaningful memories with those closest to her. Kathleen was able to overcome many adversities and still be a great mother.
Kathleen will be lovingly remembered for her caring nature, devotion to her family, and the many lives she touched throughout her years. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. The calling hours for Kathleen will be held on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. in Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield.
