Khara Lynn Wozniak, 40, of Chicopee joined her mom, Kathy, on July 10, 2019 after along and courageous battle with brain cancer. Khara was born and raised in Westfield MA. She was a graduate of Westfield High School, class of 1997. Khara is loved by many. She leaves her loving wife Michelle Wozniak and their beautiful daughter Kadence Kathleen. She also leaves behind her father Joseph Wozniak, brothers Michael & Joey, sisters Melissa & Robin. Father-in-law Richard Yvon, brother-in-law Richie. Nieces Miranda, Alexis, Destiny, Audrey & Zoey. Nephews Oliver, Petie, Christopher, Jameson, Ryan, and Konner. Khara also leaves many other family members and friends she considered family. Khara was predeceased by her loving mother, Kathleen. Khara has accomplished a lot in the little time she had.
She is a veteran of the Army National Guard from 1997-2014, where she proudly served her country. Khara also received her associate degree in health from HCC. Khara was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed spending her day taking care of Kadence and watching her grow. Khara loved vacation, especially Cape Cod. The Cape was Khara’s happy place where she would always get her clam chowder. Khara will truly be missed and loved forever. Love always “Boss”. The funeral for Khara will be held on Wednesday July 17th at 11:30 am at the West Springfield United Methodist Church, 800 Amostown Road, West Springfield. Burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield from 5-8 pm.
