SOUTHWICK – Lawrence S. Tobias, 58, died Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Westfield on October 3, 1954 to the late Stephen and Jessie Tobias.
He attended local schools in Westfield and was a 1972 graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Westfield. Larry was a longtime employee at Micro Abrasives Company in Westfield. He was a member of the Jack Pelham Bowling League for 35 years. Lawrence enjoyed tropical vacations.
He leaves his wife of 39 years, Holly A. (MacBrian) Tobias; his daughters, Dawn Renaudette and her husband James of Westfield, Kristen Tobias of Southwick; his sister, Dolores Johnstone and her husband James of Chicopee; his grandchildren, Emma and Jenna Renaudette and Seth and Shane Normoyle. He was predeceased by a son, Brian Tobias in 2009.
Calling hours will be held Monday evening, January 28th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. The funeral and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
