WESTFIELD: Lenore S. Tangocci, 81, (1934 – 2015) passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in a local nursing home with her family by her side. She was born and raised in Thompsonville, CT on May 7, 1934 to the late Charles and Lena Scavotto. She graduated from the Eastman School of Dental Hygiene in 1953. Lee worked at several dental offices during her career, most recently for Dr. Irving Greenberg in Westfield for 36 years, before retiring in 2005. She thoroughly enjoyed and took great pride in her dental hygiene career. She was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church. Lee enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, sewing, shopping, reading magazines and newspapers, attending class reunions and getting together with her special friends. She leaves her children, Gloria Howard and her husband Tim of Westfield, Joe Tangocci of Vancouver, WA and Pam Spielberg and her husband Arny of Barre, MA. She leaves her beloved grandchildren, Matthew Howard, Andrew Howard and his wife Deirdre, Rachel and Samantha Speilberg, Adam, Luke, Levi and Bethany Tangocci. She also leaves her sister Micheline Maylott of FL, brother Charles Scavotto and his wife Diane of Enfield, former husband Joseph and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private. TOOMEY-O’BRIEN FUNERAL HOME is in charge of the arrangements. The family wishes to express their thanks for the compassionate care Lee received at Westfield Center, Armbrook Village and by Noble Hospice staff and volunteers.
