Granville resident named to UMass Lowell dean’s list
LOWELL, MA – William Teter of Granville was recently recognized for achieving academic distinction at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Teter, majoring in mechanical engineering, was named to the dean’s list at UMass Lowell for the Spring 2014 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list at UMass Lowell, a student must have completed no fewer than 12 graded credits for the semester and earned at least a 3.25 grade point average with no grade lower than C and without any incompletes.

SPRINGFIELD – Kelly Gallo of Westfield was recently honored by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) with inclusion in the 2014 IWLCA Division I, II, and III Academic Honor Roll. Gallo was one of 738 student-athletes from 162 different institutions to earn this honor. Gallo represents the Movement and Sport Studies major at Springfield College. This honor is awarded to student-athletes who have achieved at least junior status academically and had a cumulative academic GPA or 3.50 or greater
Peskosky spending fall semester in England at Wroxton College

University of Rhode Island names more than 4,000 students to the Spring 2014 Dean’s List
KINGSTON, RI – The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,000 undergraduates have qualified for the Spring 2014 Dean’s List. The students represent all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, many other states and more than a dozen countries. More than half of the students are Rhode Islanders. To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average. The following students were named to the University of Rhode Island Dean’s List:

Mary Calabrese named to dean’s list at Paul Smith’s College
PAUL SMITHS, NY – Mary Calabrese of Westfield has been named to the dean’s list at Paul Smith’s College for the spring 2014 semester. Calabrese, who is majoring in baking and pastry arts, earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction.Calabrese was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.
