ASHLAND, OH – Kayla Leonard of Huntington has been accepted to Ashland University for the fall semester of 2015. Leonard is a senior at Saint Mary High School.

Connor Sheehan Named To Dean’s List At Loyola University Maryland
BALTIMORE, MD – Connor Sheehan, a member of the class of 2016 from Westfield, has been named to the fall 2014 Dean’s List at Loyola University Maryland. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List at Loyola, a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 with a minimum of 15 credits.

Hogun Kang Named to Simon’s Rock Fall 2014 Dean’s List
GREAT BARRINGTON – Bard College at Simon’s Rock announces that Hogun Kang of Southwick, MA, has earned a place on the dean’s list for the Fall 2014 semester. To be eligible for this honor a student must carry 14 or more credits and achieve a grade point average of 3.5. Kang, of Southwick, completed his studies at Southwick-Tolland Regional before leaving to begin college early.

Olivia White of Southwick Named to St. Lawrence University Dean’s List
CANTON, NY – Olivia K. White, of Southwick, has been selected for inclusion on the Dean’s List for academic achievement during the Spring 2014 semester at St. Lawrence University. White is a member of the class of 2017 and is majoring in English. White attended Southwick-Tolland Regional High School. To be eligible for the Dean’s List, a student must have completed at least four courses and have an academic average of 3.6 based on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

Caissy Price Makes Goodwin Dean’s List for Fall 2014
EAST HARTFORD, CT – Caissy Price has earned a spot on the Goodwin College Dean’s List for the Fall 2014. Price, a student from Granville, is one of 943 students to make the Dean’s List, reserved for those who demonstrate great academic performance. Dean’s List inclusion requires a student to earn a minimum 3.5 GPA, the equivalent of an A- average, during a given academic session. The student must also be enrolled in a minimum of six academic credits to qualify. Goodwin College congratulates Price on making the Dean’s List and demonstrating such a high standard of excellence in the classroom and beyond.

Area Students Named to The College of Saint Rose Dean’s List for Fall 2014
ALBANY, NY – The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York, today announced that 814 students have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2014 semester. Full-time students who complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and achieve a semester grade-point average of at least 3.5 with no grades of D, F, Incomplete or Pass/Fail are eligible for the Dean’s List. Students from this area who are on the Dean’s List for fall 2014 are: Wayde Dazelle of Westfield, Jessica Lamoureaux of Southwick, Cassandra Hawk of Westfield, and Christine Tompkins of Westfield.

Nicole Campbell of Westfield Named to Le Moyne College Fall 2014 Dean’s List
SYRACUSE, NY – Nicole Campbell has been named to the 2014 Fall Semester Dean’s List at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. To be named to the list, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. A Senior Biology major at Le Moyne, Campbell is from Westfield.

Westfield resident Danielle Charette makes Dean’s List at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine
STANDISH, ME – Danielle Charette of Westfield was named to the Dean’s List at Saint Joseph’s College of Maine for the fall semester. To be eligible for Dean’s List, a student must attain a GPA average of 3.5 or better, earn no less than a B- in all registered courses, and must carry a course load of no less than 14 credits.

Mary Calabrese named to Dean’s List at Paul Smith’s College
PAUL SMITHS, NY – Mary Calabrese of Westfield has been named to the Dean’s List at Paul Smith’s College for the Fall 2014 semester. Calabrese, who is majoring in baking arts and service management, earned a semester average of 3.3 or higher to receive this distinction. Calabrese was also named an Adirondack Scholar, having achieved a cumulative average of at least 3.8.

Emily Campbell of Westfield Named to Le Moyne College Fall 2014 Dean’s List
SYRACUSE, NY – Emily Campbell has been named to the 2014 Fall Semester Dean’s List at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, N.Y. To be named to the list, a student must obtain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. A Sophomore Bus Admin: Marketing at Le Moyne, Campbell is from Westfield.

Haley Armstrong ’15 Named to Elmira College Dean’s List for Fall 2014
ELMIRA, NY – Haley Armstrong ’15 of Westfield has been named to the Elmira College Dean’s List for the Fall 2014 academic term. Full-time students who achieve a grade point average of 3.600 or higher at the end of any Term I or Term II are placed on the Dean’s List at the college.

Harry W. Reed, son of Thomas S. and Ann B. Reed of Southwick, has received an appointment to the Class of 2019 at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Reed is scheduled to graduate from St. Mary High School in June of 2015 where he was captain of the varsity baseball and golf teams and was class president. Reed participated actively in the Civil Air Patrol throughout high school and earned the rank of Cadet Captain. He served as commander of the 104th Composite Squadron at Barnes AFB in Westfield for 18 months. The appointed members of the Class of 2019 will report to West Point for the first time on June 29, 2015. The U. S. Adam Baillargeon, son of Michael and Malinda Baillargeon of Westfield received academic honors at Westfield State University by making dean’s list for the fall semester. A junior at Westfield State University, Adam is an English major with a concentration in secondary education, and a minor in film study.

Logan Baillargeon, daughter of Michael and Malinda Baillargeon of Westfield Ma, received academic honors at Framingham State University by making the Dean’s list for the fall semester. A freshman, Logan is currently a general studies major, with a grade point average of 3.7.

Mount Ida College Announces Fall 2014 Dean’s List

Westfield resident Rachel Bilodeau, daughter of Tanya Costigan and partner of Westfield received academic honors at Westfield State University by making the university’s dean’s list for the fall semester. She is majoring in both political science and ethnic/gender studies.

Andersen named to Westfield State Dean’s list
WESTFIELD – Brenna Andersen, daughter of Cynthia Lee Andersen of Westfield and Laurits Andersen of Greenfield, received academic honors at Westfield State University by making the University’s Dean’s List for the fall semester 2014. A junior at Westfield State University, Andersen is majoring in business management with a focus in marketing. She earned a 3.94 grade point average.

Local Students Named to Emmanuel College Fall 2014 Dean’s List
BOSTON- In honor of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College has named Simone Thibault of Southwick and Laura Ziter of Westfield to the Dean’s List for the Fall 2014 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean’s List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester.

Westfield Resident Jeffrey Edinger is named to the Westfield State University Dean’s List
WESTFIELD – Jeffrey Edinger, son of Lisa Sunderland Burns of Westfield, MA and William Edinger of Southwick, MA, received academic honors at Westfield State University by making the University’s Dean’s List for the fall semester 2014. A junior at Westfield State University, Jeffrey is majoring in Business Management. He also has an associates degree in Criminal Justice.
