Lois A. Czarnecki

WESTFIELD: Lois Ann (Kelly) Czarnecki, 72, of Westfield died Saturday at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Westfield on December 27, 1942 the daughter of the late John and Mildred (Noble) Kelly and was a 1960 graduate of St. Mary’s High School. Lois was employed as a supervisor at Fred S. O’Donnell Insurance Co. from 1960-1984 and later Keyes, Mattson & Agan/Berkshire Insurance Group retiring in 2007. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed watching the Bruins and Red Sox. Her hobbies included gardening, quilting, yoga, crafting, baking and walking on the rail trail. Traveling to NASCAR races, both past and present, was always an enjoyment for her as well. She especially loved spending time with her family and attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. Lois was predeceased by her loving husband, Paul in 1998 and her brother Garry Kelly in 2013. She is survived by a son, Kevin and his wife Katherine, two daughters, Kimberly Cottengim and her husband William, Diane DeMorris and her husband Jeffrey all of Westfield. She also leaves four loving grandchildren, Kelsey and Connor Cottengim, Brayden and Kirsten Czarnecki. In addition to her immediate family Lois leaves behind her caring companion Donald Swiatek, his son Donald Swiatek and his wife Amy, and his daughter Hope Swiatek. Lois’ family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Sr. Caritas Cancer Center and Mercy Hospice for their exceptional care and support. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7pm at Firtion-Adams, 76 Broad Street, Westfield MA. All funeral services and burial will be private.
