TOLLAND – Loren H. Clark, 86, a resident of this town for the past 8 years, and former 25 year resident of Westfield, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury, CT. Born in Springfield, MA, Loren was the son of the late Maurice & Dorothy (Tarbox) Clark.Loren had owned his own lumber business for many years, and was an Army Veteran of WWII. In his retirement, he traveled to every corner of North America exploring the glory of nature and the diversity of people. He lived an extraordinary life in his typically quiet way.
He is survived by his wife, Jean A. Armitage; twin daughters, Leslie A. Clark of Feeding Hills, MA, and Laurie J. Stillwagon and her husband Mark of Orefield, PA; two brothers, Wayne Clark of CA & Alan Clark of AZ; and a sister, Audrey Dempsey of Feeding Hills, MA.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Loren on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southwick-Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, MA.
