WESTFIELD – Maida J. (Kellogg) Peck “Teko”, 83 died Saturday, November 10, 2012. A lifelong resident of Westfield, Teko enjoyed many creative activities, such as crafting, sewing, refinishing trunks and painting. She loved music and dancing, the outdoors, watching birds and other wildlife. Teko found great joy in her family, watching her children and grandchildren create their lives and families of their own.
Teko was predeceased by her husband, Walter J. Peck in 2006. She leaves her son, Bruce Peck and his wife Jan of Colorado; her daughter, Katherine Gleason and her husband Tom of Westfield; her daughter Paula York and her husband John of Russell; her daughter, Mary Kadomoto and her husband Dan of California as well as six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She also leaves a brother, Crawford Kellogg and a sister, Eunice Fucci of Westfield, and many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In recognition of her love of nature, donations in Teko’s memory may be made to Stanley Park, 400 Western Avenue, Westfield, MA 01085.
