Daniel J. Laiho, 35, of 15 Green Ave., was released on his personal recognizance pending a May 8 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and executing an improper turn brought by Westfield police.
Marcos M. Acevedo, 35, of 28 West School St., saw charges of trafficking in cocaine, possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute and a drug violation near a school or park dismissed after he was arraigned and indicted on the same charges in superior court.
Stacey Biza, 29, of 28 West School St., saw charges of trafficking in cocaine, possession of a Class E drug, possession of a Class E drug with intent to distribute and a drug violation near a school or park brought by Westfield police dismissed after she was arraigned and indicted on the same charges in superior court.
Christina M. Ramos, 31, of 40 Riverview Homes, Pittsfield, saw charges of threatening to commit a crime and making annoying telephone calls or electronic communications brought by Westfield police dismissed without prejudice when the alleged victim did not appear in court.
Thomas J. Keating, 27, of 71 Pontoosic Road, saw a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police dismissed at the request of the alleged victim.
Marcus K. Cadogan, 21, of 511 Dickinson St., Springfield, pleaded guilty to charges of receiving stolen property valued more than $250, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, use of a motor vehicle without authority, speeding and a number plate violation brought by State Police and was placed on probation for one year. He was assessed $90. In a separate case brought by Westfield police, Cadogan was ordered to stay away from and make no threats or violence toward the alleged victim when he was released on his personal recognizance pending an April 19 hearing after he was arraigned on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding.
