WESTFIELD – Marc W. Tatro, aged 63, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023, in Westfield, MA. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever be engraved in the hearts of his family and friends.
Marc was born on September 24th, 1959, in Springfield, MA, as the fifth child of Francis and Claire (Jodoin) Tatro. He was a proud triplet, sharing an unbreakable bond with his brother Arthur and sister Pamela. Growing up in Southwick, MA, Marc experienced the joy and warmth of being part of a large family, consisting of nine siblings. He graduated from Southwick High School.
Marc is survived by his three sons: Robert Tatro and his wife, Jennifer, of Southwick, MA; Christopher Tatro and his wife, Heather, of San Antonio, TX; and Alex Tatro and his wife, Roseann Tatro, of Russell, MA. He adored his role as a father and took immense pride in the accomplishments of his children.
In addition to his children, Marc leaves behind his siblings: Paul Tatro, Gene Tatro, Arthur Tatro, Pamela Jensen, Donald Tatro, David Tatro, and Diane Burhans. The love and unity shared among his siblings will provide solace during this difficult time. Marc was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Claire Tatro, brother Timothy Tatro, sister Donna Chrystal and they now rest together in eternal peace.
Marc was also blessed with six grandchildren who brought immeasurable joy into his life: Kianna, Alex Jr., Lily, Olivia, Izzabella-Marie, and Paula-Rose. His love for them was boundless, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Marc will be remembered for his kind soul, gentle heart, and non-judgmental nature. He possessed a natural inclination for helping others and found solace by the water’s edge. Marc had a remarkable talent for machinery and enjoyed building and maintaining equipment. Whether working on cars or engaging in winter projects, his dedication and determination were admirable.
Throughout his life’s journey, Marc embraced his individuality and lived authentically. His warm presence filled every room he entered, spreading laughter and love to all those around him. The sudden loss of this beloved father, brother, son, and grandfather has left a profound void in our lives, but his light will continue to shine brightly in our memories.
