Margaret A. Warrington

WESTFIELD – Margaret “Peg” A. Warrington, 81, of Westfield MA, passed away Friday, September 15th, 2023. Margaret was born on May 3rd, 1942 to Alice and Frank Roach in Westfield MA. She opened her own hair salon called Peg’s Beauty Shop and successfully ran the business for 20+ years. She loved the social aspect of discussing life with her clients, which inspired her to pursue a degree in Clinical Psychology. After attaining her master’s degree from Bay Path college, she set off to help people in therapy sessions through different mental health organizations. This gave her the experience and skill set to open her own independent counseling practice at home. In 1997, Peg met Robert “Bob” Warrington and they married September 24th, 2006. They shared a love for reading and hiking. She also enjoyed painting and perusing flea markets.

She was predeceased by her husband Bob, daughter Christine Choquette and grandson Alex Schultz.

She is lovingly remembered by her five children, Edward Schultz and fiancé Geneva, Cynthia Johnstone and husband Scott, Linda Texeira and husband Mark, John Madrid and wife Jessica, and son-in-law Jack Choquette. Margaret enjoyed sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Margaret was the seventh of seven siblings: Betty Senecal, Shirley Lowe, Jean Dziadzio, Beverly Marcyoniak, Raymond Roach, and William Roach.

Peg’s family and friends will always treasure the time they had with her. Her determination and sense of humor will be missed by all.
