WESTFIELD: Marilyn Potter, 64, (1956-2020) passed away at home. She was born in St. Johnsbury, VT to parents of Joan and James Potter. She was raised in Vermont and later moved to Massachusetts where she lived 5 years in Agawam and the last 20 years in Westfield. Marilyn graduated from Hazen Union High School in Hardwick, VT in 1975. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a Major in Theater and Minor in Music from Lyndon State in Lyndonville, VT in 1980.
She leaves her sister Marcia of Westfield, her brother Ken of California, a niece Elizabeth of California, her son Jackson and a nephew Aaron in Illinois. Marliyn loved baseball and followed the Red Sox. She went to see a couple of spring trainings, has visited half of baseball stadiums and had wanted to visit all the ball park stadiums. She loved her cat at home, Thumper. She loved to camp and would go camping almost every other weekend and enjoyed going to the movies, cooking, looking at recipes, and travelling.
