Marion W. Fleming Allen

INGLIS, FL / WESTFIELD – Marion W. (Eagan) Fleming Allen, 78, (1940 – 2018) passed away on July 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Inglis, FL. Born in Agawam, MA on March 8, 1940 to the late Philip and Marion Ruth (Gosselin) Eagan, she attended Agawam Public Schools. Marion devoted most of her adult life to the help and support of all those in need. Even though she was not a certified social worker, she fulfilled that role for many. She was also a beloved volunteer member of the Westfield Council on Aging Companion Program, volunteer worker for the American Association for the Blind and member of the Western Massachusetts Department of Mental Health Advisory Board. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Terry Eagan and her first husband Wayne Fleming who passed away in 1987. To cherish her memory, she leaves her loving husband of 18 years Robert F. Allen of Inglis, FL; son Joseph Fleming of Agawam; daughters Suzanne Fleming of Feeding Hills and Sandra Fleming of Inglis, FL; grandchildren Heather Sanders, Robert Fleming and Joseph Fleming; many great grandchildren as well as her sister Margaret Hammill of Spencer. Burial will be private for the family and have been entrusted to Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home.
