Westfield – Mary E. (Bullens) Krutka, 81, (1937-2019) passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born in Westfield to the late William and Constance (Laro) Bullens. Mary taught CCD at St. Mary’s Church for many years, was the President of the Confraternity for 10 years and was a faithful daily Mass Communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Westfield. She enjoyed being the co-pilot going on car rides with her daughter Donna, decorating cakes, but the highlight for her was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 44 years, Raymond J. Krutka in 2000 and a son Gary S. Krutka in 2004. Mary is survived by her loving children, Raymond T. Krutka, James W. Krutka and his wife Julianne, Donna M. Leonard and her husband Michael and Thomas L. Krutka, all of Westfield, her four cherished grandchildren, Tad Krutka, Jennifer Krutka, C.J. Krutka and Lauren Leonard, three great grandchildren and six siblings, Barbara Bresnahan of W. Dennis, William Bullens of Webster, Kathy Pelland of Chicopee, Joanne Robienciezak of Westfield, Susan Wood of Springfield and Thomas Bullens of Springfield. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, with a Mass at 10:30AM in St. Mary’s Church, Bartlett St. Westfield, followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Southampton Rd. Westfield. A visiting hour will be held prior to the Mass from 9-10AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St,. Westfield, MA.
