WESTFIELD – Mary Jane (Mae) Petrucelli passed away on May 11, 2023 in a local nursing home. She was born in Westfield on March 25, 1922 to the late Cyril P. and Juliana (Tropp) Zarichak. She attended local schools and was a 1940 graduate of Westfield High School. Mary worked in the office of Stanley Home Products for 7 years and was the secretary at Westfield Whip Mfg. for 25 years and retired in 1984. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and was a member of the Confraternity of the Holy Rosary.
She was predeceased by her husband Albert C. Petrucelli in 2009. She leaves her son James and his wife Patricia, her grandson Andrew Petrucelli, sister in-law Shirley Zarichak, and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Walter, Paul, Thomas and Helen Zarichak.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 17th at 10 am in the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad Street, Westfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9-10 am.
