Mary L. Majka

WRoseESTFIELD: Mary (Liebersbach) Majka, 92, passed away on June 23, 2015 in the Jewish Nursing Home, Longmeadow. She was born in Kalusz, Poland to the late Walenty and Elzbieta (Kram) Liebersbach. Mary was employed by Kellogg Brush Shop and Decorated Metal Products. She was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Polish National Church, the MK Club and the Adoration Society there. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Edward Majka, her brothers Joseph and John, and her sister Rose. Mary is survived by her loving sons, Fred Majka and his wife Chris of Southwick and Edward Majka and his wife Laurie of Westfield, her cherished grandchildren, Karey Majka of Warwick, R.I., Daniel Majka and his wife, Danielle of Westfield and Jeffrey Majka with Jenn Pindell of S. Windsor, CT. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in St. Joseph’s Polish National Church, Main St. Westfield, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Apremont Way, Westfield. Visiting hours will be held prior to the Mass from 9:30-10:30AM in the Firtion Adams FS, 76 Broad St. Westfield, MA 01085.
