Throughout her career as a nurse, Maryann was a dedicated advocate for her patients, and touched many lives. As a devoted mother, sister, and friend, Maryann had a gift of caring for others. When a gentle touch, a firm push, an encouraging word was needed, without judgment, she was there. Maryann was also an avid reader and music-lover. As a teenager, she could often be found in a rocking chair singing to songs on the radio, knowing every lyric.

Maryann is also survived by her sweet grandchildren, Killian and River Shaw, who knew her as their loving Noni.
